  • We recently purchased a three-bedroom apartment in East Newcastle in a well-respected, solid building. The apartment required a complete refurbishment, due to years of neglect. We asked David to oversee the work, as we were living in Central New South Wales at the time of the refurbishment. David and his apprentice Joe went above our level of expectations. David was in constant communication with me regarding all required work, including daily updates and photos. He was constantly ensuring that we were on the same page. David engaged contractors who were very professional in their trades, including air conditioning, painting, electrical work and parquetry repairs. All other work, including plastering repairs (and there were some!) was carried out ably by David and Joe. Their attention to detail is to be commended. David and Joe worked to a strict timetable, and we were able to move to Newcastle as planned. I thought I would arrive to an apartment and need to clean it from top to toe, however that was not the case. It was very much in a livable condition, thank goodness. I have no hesitation in recommending Bactise Builders – they were professional and pleasant to have around.
